Salary Expectations

Once you have hired your nanny, you become their employer and must be in charge of paying your nanny (employee) correctly. We can advise you of the process you must follow, but in the first instance you must register with the Inland Revenue who will provide you with a starter pack. Alternatively we can refer you to a payroll service provider who will assist you. You would normally pay an annual fee for their services.

Our fees are Net based but if you would like a rough calculation of the full fee you will be paying with Tax, Employee’s NI and Employer’s NI please ask us for an estimation.

Within Central London, you can expect to pay the following:

• Live In Nannies - £350-£400
• Live Out Nannies - £400-£550
• Nanny Share Arrangements - £400 - £550
• Parent’s Help – Live In - £275-£300
• Parent’s Help – Live Out £375-£450
• Daily Nannies - £100-£120 per day

These are based on a 5 day working week and are meant as a guideline only.
