Business Manager (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)- Nightingale, London (SW12)
Location: Nightingale, London (SW12) – Strictly Office-Based
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week (Highly flexible scheduling available)

We are seeking an organised and proactive Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will lead the finance, administration, and HR functions, building the operational foundations that ensure the nursery runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance & Budgeting: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, and budget management.
- Funding & Payroll: Manage Early Years funding streams and coordinate HR payroll administration.
- Operations & Systems: Optimize business systems, IT tools, and daily administration.
- Compliance & Safety: Lead GDPR, compliance, safeguarding infrastructure, and operational reporting.
Key Skills & Experience
- Financial Expertise: Strong background in bookkeeping, financial management, and budgeting.
- Operational Admin: Proven experience in HR administration, payroll, and nursery/business software.
- Tech Savvy: Highly confident using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and financial platforms.
- Compliance Knowledge: Clear understanding of GDPR, safeguarding regulations, and business systems.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
