Recruitment and Safeguarding Process


Each candidate has a face-to-face interview with one of our experienced recruitment consultants who will ensure the candidate has the skills, qualifications and experience necessary to carry out duties set out by our clients. The criterion used to assess suitability for supply nursery staff is an aptitude to help, care, adapt quickly and contribute positively by using initiative. A knowledge and understanding of Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Child Protection procedures is also required.

Documentation Obtained

  • Certificate of qualifications
  • Photo ID
  • References
  • Passport or birth certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of Address (bank statement/utilities bill etc)
  • Copy of CV

Reference Checks

At least two references are obtained by written application to two of their most recent employers. Verbal references are also performed in most cases.
